The Antechamber was a room in the Lunar Eclipse Hall on Rougetsu Island. The floor is highly polished, so that the reflections of the candle flames can be seen in it. A huge mask hangs from the ceiling at the centre of the room, and it was directly below this mask that the Utsuwa and Kanade would meditate before the Kiraigou. The altar has a mechanism that plays a version of the Lunar Melody, and slides to one side to reveal a passage leading to the Lunar Underworld Hall, where the ritual was performed.
