Some visitors came to our [[Minakami Village|village]] today, a [[Seijiro Makabe|folk scholar]] and his apprentice, a boy called [[Ryozo Munakata|Munakata]].
Munakata said he had come because he was worried about [[Itsuki Tachibana|Itsuki]]. He kept asking questions about him, but we were warned not to tell him anything about the village.
We couldn't tell him that Itsuki has been locked in a [[storehouse]], and that he probably wouldn't be allowed to meet him.

The scholar has a [[Camera Obscura|special box]] that makes pictures of things, and he used it to make a [[Warped Twins|picture]] of us.
My face looks a bit strange in the picture, but it's still a really nice thing to have.
They say that scholar is going to become a [[Kusabi|✻✻]], because we're not ready yet. Because we haven't been purified.
We have to get him to leave before that happens.
I must become one with my sister.

Munakata and his teacher came to the village today. He said he was worried about Itsuki and came to help.

But I can't tell outsiders about the village.
Itsuki's locked up in the storehouse.
I doubt he'll be allowed to talk with an outsider.

Mr. Makabe made a picture of us with his picture box. My face looked strange, but it was interesting to see.

He's probably going to be ✻✻, because our cleansing isn't finished yet.

Before that happens, we have to help him escape.
