Significance
The Deception series is another series created by Tecmo, worked on by many of Fatal Frame's core staff (such as Keisuke Kikuchi and Makoto Shibata). Mayu wears the costume of Millennia (Deception 2) and Mio wears the costume of fan-favourite Reina (Deception 3).
