Sacrificial Song

The Sacrificial Song is performed by the Veiled Priests of Minakami Village during the Crimson Sacrifice Ritual. The song is first heard during the opening portion of the game when Mio is first playable, chasing Mayu up the path to Misono Hill. During this time, the priests can be faintly heard chanting. Scraps of the song are also audible in the Underground Passageway.

The chant is featured prominently in the Xbox/Director's cut version of Fatal Frame II, in which it can be heard playing while the main menu screen of the game is open after loading the game. The lyrics to the song were published in the Fatal Frame Fanbook.
