Ellie is a character in the mini-drama released to promote Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir. She and her family are moving into the house where Zach and his friend disappeared. She goes down to look around the basement, and before returning upstairs to help unload the moving van, she spots the Purple Diary lying on the floor. She picks it up and takes it upstairs with her. When she turns the light off, the Woman in Black is standing in the corner.
