Zach
Zach is a character in the mini-drama released to promote Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir. He and his friend are cleaning out the basement of his house. While he sits on the steps playing on his Nintendo 3DS, she finds a strange old diary. Zach says it doesn't belong to his family, and he doesn't know where it came from. They go upstairs to get a drink, and the shadowy figure of a woman appears in the basement behind them.
Zach puts his 3DS down on the living room table, but as he walks away, it makes a sound like a camera shutter. When he picks it up again, the screen reveals strange marks like ink stains all over the room, and can hear disembodied voices. He takes another picture, and a woman's voice says, "I've been waiting." As the dark shadows he saw on the screen manifest in the real world, Zach drops the 3DS and clutches at his face in pain. When his friend comes out looking for him, he has vanished, but through the 3DS she sees his ghost walking towards the basement, where she eventually finds him. His eyes and mouth have been sewn shut.
