Haruka Kuze is a character in Priestess of the Rift - Account of the Vanished Patients in the Zero Shisei no Koe Comic Anthology. She is a nurse working at Murayama General Hospital, and Yoshino Takigawa is one of her patients. (Note: in the game, the name of the hospital where Yoshino stays is the Katsuragi Hospital.) She never knew her father, as he died on his way to a scientific investigation before she was born; her mother raised her alone, and Haruka never even saw a photograph of her father. She has a sixth sense, which allows her to see things not visible to normal people.

At the same time as the events of Fatal Frame III are taking place, Haruka begins to dream about her ancestors, who belonged to a minor branch of the Kuze Family, and once visited the Kuze Shrine around the time of the Unleashing. After Yoshino is Spirited Away, her tattoos pass to Haruka, and Haruka's dreams of her family history blend with dreams of the Manor of Sleep.

In these dreams, she encounters Miku Hinasaki, Rei Kurosawa and Kei Amakura while trying to outrun Reika Kuze. She is guided by the spirit of her father, who shows her the way out and gives her the Camera Obscura. Haruka tries to follow him deeper instead, but her ancestor intervenes, taking the tattoos from her and commanding her to wake up. After that, Haruka stops dreaming of the Manor of Sleep, becoming one of the few people to survive the Tattooed Curse.
