Minakami Settlement Kanji Game Crimson Butterfly Remake Located at Minakami Village Function None Status Abandoned

Minakami Settlement is a new explorable area in Minakami Village, added in Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake. It is situated between Kayano and the Tomonaki River Shore. Along with Minakami Alleyway, this is one of the areas where ordinary villagers who were not members of the five main families would live. A large pine tree called "Amanoki" (Sky Tree) is a landmark visible from some distance. With the exception of the house where you first encounter The Entrapped, all the houses in the settlement area are locked. Children of the village would pile up stones at the shore of the river while playing, creating a scene reminiscent of the Sai no Kawara, the mythological riverbank in the underworld.

Notable Events

• During Chapter 2, Mio enters one of the houses and fights The Entrapped to recover one of the Twin Jizo Keys.
