This costume is the default costume for any version of the game. Mio and Mayu are wearing this at the game start.

Significance

Mio and Mayu's signature costumes. The colours are muted, except for the bright red ribbons at the collar, which resemble crimson butterflies. Mayu's dress has a high collar, drawing attention to her throat, and her skirt exposes her bandaged knee, whereas Mio's leggings give her a more active look.

• These costumes reappear as unlockable costumes for Yuri Kozukata and Miu Hinasaki in the 2021 remaster of Fatal Frame V.
