Not to be confused with the Library from Fatal Frame III, or the Archive from Fatal Frame IV.

Library Kanji 書院の間 （しょいん　の　ま） Game Fatal Frame Located at Himuro Mansion Function Library Status Abandoned

A room in Himuro Mansion, connected to the Lamp Hallway and Kimono Room. Inside are a closet, screens and a tokonoma. In spite of the name, the Library contains no books; in Japanese it is called a shoin, a formal room for entertaining guests.

Koji Ogata came into this room trying to escape Kirie, and died in the closet, where Junsei Takamine and Tomoe Hirasaka found his body. Koji left his tape recorder in the closet, and during 1st Night: The Strangling Ritual, a slowed-down recording of a voice can be heard from inside.

Notable Events

• Koji Ogata succumbed to the Rope Curse and was killed by Kirie Himuro here.
• Miku has a flashback of Koji's demise.
