Rope Hallway Kanji 縄の廊下 （なわ　の　ろうか） Game Fatal Frame Located at Himuro Mansion Function Hallway Status Ruined

The Rope Hallway connected Himuro Mansion's Foyer to the Grand Hall and Fireplace Room. The hallway gained its name from the series of ropes that hang from support beams above. There has yet to be any explanation as to why the ropes are hanging there. The body of an unnamed Rope Shrine Maiden is enshrined in the rafters above.

The Rope Hallway is one of the rooms from Himuro Mansion that appears in the Manor of Sleep as part of Miku Hinasaki's dreams. Two of the doorways still lead to the Entrance and the Great Hall, while the third leads to the Hall with Tatami from the old Kuze Shrine.

As in Fatal Frame, Miku finds the Camera Obscura here, lying in front of the mirror, and Reika Kuze appears behind her after she picks it up. At the end of Hour XI, if the player chooses to head back towards the Manor of Sleep rather than following Mafuyu, Reika will once again appear behind Miku in this spot, preventing her from waking up.
