The Shrine of the Ephemeral houses three Pillars who guard the mountain's Pure Water.
One for the caskets.
One for the Forbidden Flame.
One for the water.
The water passes through the Shrine, purified by the flame.
To proceed, one must receive permission from the two maidens.
With the two keys, receive the blessing of the maidens on the water.

水上の水は
幾多の忌火が灯された幽ノ宮を通じ
御澄となりて山へ流れ落ちゆく
水上へ向かうならば、
二人の巫女より許しを受け
二つの鍵を似って
水上の巫女の守りを得よ
