Long Hair Woman is a ghost who appears in Fatal Frame. She appears to be naked and draped in very long hair. According to the spirit list, she is an evil spirit (translated as "demon" in the English version) who crossed from the Underworld during the Calamity. She became part of Himuro Mansion's curse and lingered there, waiting to draw the living into the land of the dead. None of the battles with her are mandatory, and she frequently appears a random encounter ghost, especially in Night 3.
Misc. Info
- There is also a hidden ghost named Long Hair Woman in the English translation of the spirit list.[1] However, her name in Japanese is different (髪をなびかせる女, "woman with fluttering hair"), and her origin story differs from that of the hostile ghost, so they are most likely not intended to be the same person.

Notes
- ↑ During the Night 3 encounter in the Fish Tank Room, Long Hair Woman has a high chance to spawn with a second ghost, often Wandering Monk or Floating Face.
