Bound Man is a ghost in Fatal Frame, and the first hostile ghost fought in the Fatal Frame Series.
He was not a member of the Himuro family, but visited Himuro Mansion some time after the Calamity for reasons unknown, and fell victim to the Rope Curse.[1] After death, his spirit returned to the mansion full of agony and hate for the living.[2] It wandered the mansion in search of help.
Bound Man is the first and only hostile ghost encountered by Mafuyu Hinasaki while he is a playable character. This is the only time where battling Bound Man is mandatory. He later becomes a random ghost encounter for Miku Hinasaki.
