Chapter only available if you viewed the extra cutscenes in Chapter 8 and defeated the Kusabi in less than five minutes.
In this chapter, instead of Mayu persuading Mio to complete the ritual, she is possessed by Sae's hostile spirit. Mio must then fend off Sae's attacks. If Sae enters Dark Return and you kill her with a Fatal Frame Shot, the Hellish Abyss Ending plays; if not, the Frozen Butterfly Ending plays.

- If Mayu's Fatal Frame chance is missed, the player receives an automatic death and must restart from the last save point, going through the Kusabi again.
