This costume is the default costume for any version of the game save for the Japanese PS2 release. Miku is wearing this at the start of the game.

Significance

This costume was modified from the costume/design Miku was originally released with to make her appear older and appeal to a more Western audience. Chapter title cards were updated to reflect the new design.

Misc Info

• This outfit/design was used in the Japanese Xbox version of Fatal Frame.
• In Miku's cameos in other games, she is wearing her Japanese default costume.
• This costume is available as an unlockable outfit for Miu Hinasaki in the remaster of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water.
