When did I realize I could see things that others could not? When did I realize I could hear the voices of dead people?
They tell me things. They whisper to me, the same things over and over.
I have to cover my ears so that I don't accidentally listen.
If I listen to them, I'll know. And if I know, I'll accept it.
Many, many, many voices, all talking to me.
It doesn't make any sense.
If only I could stop them from whispering to me.

他人と違うものが見えていると気付いたのは
いつの頃からだろう。
死んだ人の言葉が聞こえると気づいたのは
いつの頃からだろう。
あの人たちは、私にいろんなことを話してくる。
繰言のように、いつまでも同じことを
呟いている。
思わず聞いてしまいそうになって、
耳を塞ぐ。
聞いてしまうと、知ってしまう。
知ってしまうと、受けとめてしまう。
話しかけてくるたくさんの声、声、声。
私には何も受け取れない、何もできない。
いっそ私が呟く側に回れば、穏やかに
過ごせるのかもしれない。
