The shrine maiden's grove.
I received a special invitation to visit this mountain, where only people who return to the water are allowed to go.
The mountain whence none return alive. This mountain has a unique custom.
They believe water to be holy. The people here yearn for a proper death.
People come here, chanting about wanting to be the water.
They are so sincere, I think I am starting to believe them.
So many people with the same belief. If this is carried on through the generations, perhaps their prayers will be answered.

水帰りをする人間以外は入ってはならない
この山に、招待を受けて特別に入ることに
なった。
生きて帰る者が入れない山。
この山には、特殊な風習がある。
水を御神体とする風習。
正しく死ぬことへの憧憬。
水になりたい、と繰り返す人々が巫女社を
訪れる。
巫女社の人々に触れると、そのことが現実に
存在するような気がする。
多くの人々によって信じられ、代々守られる
ことで、一つの信仰は現実に存在するように
なっていくのだろうか。
