Mikomori Pond is a lake at the foot of Mount Hikami, where water accumulates after flowing down the mountain. Because of this, the water quality is good year round, and when it was a tourist spot there were many people who took a stroll on the promenade and Mikomori Bridge.
Mikomori Bridge, leading to the shrine path, was positioned so as to be the boundary to the mountain. Long ago it was made out of wood, but was replaced with a concrete one when Ichiru Manor was built at the hot springs.[1] It is close to Mikomori Station.
