  Old Cassette
  An old cassette tape, found in Ren's private study.

  Large Envelope
  A rather large envelope that was in Hisoka's room. A number of files on the people she was searching for were inside.

  Found in Ren's private study. A number of old scenic photos are inside.

  Haruka's Handbook
  The student handbook belonging to a girl named Haruka Momose. It was sent in the hope that it could help in the search for her.

  Peony Plate Key
  Left behind at the Shrine of Dolls after the girl left. A stylized peony has been engraved into the metal.

Ghost List Entries

It appears that ghost list entries were written for each character and entity in the game, including separate entries for living characters who eventually became ghosts. Many were not used in the final version.

Kunihiko Aso

• A scientist who worked during the mid-19th century. He invented the Camera Obscura.
• 江戸後期～明治に活動していた科学者。射影機を作り出す。

Ayane

• A kunoichi from the Hajinmon sect of the Mugen Tenshin ninja clan.
• 霧幻天神流の闇「覇神門」のくノ一。

Fuyuhi Himino

• A student who goes to Mt. Hikami in search of her friend, Haruka, only to die in the process.
• 学生。行方不明となった友人、百々瀬春河を探して日上山に向かい、自ら命を絶つ。

Hand in the Netherworld

• Hand in the Netherworld. These vestiges of souls claimed by the waters lack form, but still try to kill any who come close.
• 隠世へ誘う手。 水に融けた魂たちの残滓。融け合って人の姿すら無くしてしまっているが、近づく物を隠世へと引きこもうとする。

Haruka Momose

• Fuyuhi's friend. She goes to Mt. Hikami to send the souls of her friends back to the water.
• 氷見野冬陽の友人。霊感を持ち、一緒に自殺しようとした友人達の魂を水に帰す為に日上山を訪れ、神隠しに遭う。

Hisoka Kurosawa

• An antiques dealer adept at shadow reading. She disappears whilst on a missing person case.
• 骨董屋を経営する傍ら、「影見」を行う女性。失踪者を探すうちに自らも行方不明となる。

Miku Hinasaki

• Miu's mother, she also has powerful psychic abilities. She went missing years ago, yet she hasn't aged.
• 深羽の母親で、強い霊感を持つ女性。10年ほど前から神隠しに遭っており、外見はその当時のままである。

Miu Hinasaki

• Possessed of powerful psychic abilities, she goes looking for her Mother on Mt. Hikami.
• 強い霊感を持つ少女。行方不明の母を捜し日上山を訪れ、自らも神隠しに遭う。

Akari Narumi

• A girl Hisoka once tried to help, she committed suicide before Hisoka had a chance to save her.
• 過去、密花が助けようとしたが、助けられずに目の前で命を絶った少女。

Ren Hojo

• An author investigating Postmortem Photography, which leads him to Mt. Hikami.
• フィクション作家。弔写真を調べるうちに、日上山で起こる出来事に巻き込まれる。

Rui Kagamiya

• Ren's live-in assistant. Putting the job first, Rui has become more like Ren's caregiver.
• 住み込みで蓮の助手をしている。仕事も家事も優秀で、実質蓮の面倒を見ていることになっている。

Kazuya Sakaki

• Ren's friend. He was looking into Postmortem Photography when he went missing.
• 蓮の友人。蓮に頼まれて弔写真を調べていたが、行方不明となる。

Traces

• Shadows of the past seen by touching an object. It's said those shadows will draw you to the afterlife.
• 寄香が見せる過去の影、残影。見えない世界を覗くその間は「隠世の者たちを引き寄せる」とも言われている。

Tsumugi Katashina

• A traumatic childhood has left her mostly mute. She has been spirited away.
• 周囲との関係に苦しみ、言葉をなくした少女。神隠しに遭う。

Keiji Watarai

• A folklorist who studied Mt. Hikami. He vanished, and little of his work now remains.
• 昔、日上山を調べていた民俗学者。文献は幾つか残っているが、その後どうなったかは不明。

Yuri Kozukata

• Still new to shadow reading, she goes looking for her missing mentor on the ominous Mt. Hikami.
• 影見見習いの少女。行方不明となった恩人、黒澤密花を探すうち、日上山の過去に巻き込まれる。
