The Black Water is restless. During the Witching Hour, the mountain lets out a shriek.
The Funeral Celebrant laments that the Great Pillar will soon succumb.
The Wedding Celebrant is hurriedly making votives.
The Ghost Marriages have begun.
Maidens cannot be joined while in the mortal world. Only Pillars can enter into Ghost Marriages.
Perhaps this Ghost Marriage is meant to console maidens alone in their caskets.
Since surviving that flood, I've thought I would live alone and that I would die alone.
Perhaps here on Mt. Hikami, that can be changed.
