- The Repentance - The Repentance, when the darkness spills from the Hellish Abyss.
- Secret Site - No one must see or speak of the Forbidden Ritual Site.
- The Hellish Abyss - The enormous pit at the Forbidden Ritual site, "the Hellish Abyss".
- Crimson Butterfly - The mark on the strangled twin's throat turns into a Crimson Butterfly.
- The Cave - A cave beneath All God's Village, used for storage and passage.
- A Passageway - Only priests and Mourners are allowed to enter this site.
- The Camera Obscura - The Camera Obscura created by Dr. Asou to capture supernatural phenomenon.
- Chitose Tachibana - Chitose Tachibana hides in the closet. She thinks Mio is Yae.
- One Remained - The Crimson Sacrifice Ritual was so abominable it was forbidden even to write of it.
- The Remaining - The twin that kills her other half is called "The Remaining."
- One Girl - Only one young girl escaped the village before it disappeared.
- Folklorist - Seijiro Makabe, a folklorist who investigates local customs.
- Kusabi - All God's Village's custom is to use outsiders as human sacrifice.
- Twin Order - In All God's Village, the twin born first is considered the younger.
- Twin Shrine - A special cemetery where The Remainings are enshrined when they die.
- The Old Tree - The Old Tree where The Remainings are enshrined when they die.
- Spirit Stone Radio - The Spirit Stone Radio is a modified crystal radio set.

- Minakami Village - Mio and Mayu have found themselves in Minakami Village, a place thought to have completely disappeared.
- Masumi and Miyako - Masumi's ghost returned to Miyako, but the reunion ended in tragedy when he strangled her.
- Boy in the Storehouse - The white-haired boy calls Mio by the name 'Yae' and tells her to flee before the ceremony begins.
- Itsuki Tachibana - Itsuki was the surviving twin after the ceremony. He took his own life after helping Sae and Yae escape.
- The Shadow Ritual - If the Abyss grows restless, it can be placated for a time by human sacrifice. The victim is known as the Kusabi.
- The Twin Doll - The head of the Kiryu house made a doll modelled on his daughter, Azami, to comfort Akane, her twin and killer.
- Woman in the Red Sash - A laughing woman stands among a sea of dead bodies. Any who tried to flee were picked off one by one.
- Sae Kurosawa - Her demonic spirit slaughtered the villagers. Now she is all alone, waiting for her sister to finally return.
- Twin Maidens - It is thought that when twins are reunited, it releases a vast energy that can seal the very gates of hell.
- Crimson Sacrifice Festival - The Abyss is sealed during the Crimson Sacrifice Festival when Twin Shrine Maidens are offered up.
- The Repentance - When the Abyss opens fully, darkness from its depths overwhelms the village. This is the Repentance.

- The Abyss - The vast hole where the Hidden Ceremony takes place is known as the Abyss.
- The Crimson Butterflies - After the elder twin kills the younger, the red marks on the victim's neck become a crimson butterfly.

- The Deep Path - Only priests and Mourners are permitted to enter the deepest point of the cave network.

- The Surviving Twin - The twin who kills the other becomes the Remaining, and is feared and respected throughout the village.
- The Girl Who Survived - There was one girl who managed to escape from the Lost Village.
- The Folk Scholar - A scholar of local folk traditions, Makabe tried to document the Hidden Ceremony with the Camera Obscura,
- The Kusabi - An outsider is sacrificed as what is known as a Kusabi in order to temporarily placate the Abyss.
- Which Twin is Older? - In Minakami Village, it is believed that the younger twin is the one that is born first.
- Shrine for Twins - There is said to be a special burial place somewhere in the village where the Remaining are laid to rest.
- The Decayed Tree - The Remaining are laid to rest in a special burial site among the roots of the vast decayed tree.
- The Spirit Stone Radio - Using gemstones in its circuitry, this radio allows the listener to tune into the voices of the spirits.
