Naoya

Template:FFIII GhostNaoya was Yoshino Takigawa's fiancé. While Naoya was travelling with Yoshino and her family in August 1988, their plane crashed, killing everyone on board except for Yoshino. Naoya was among the deceased and, for several days before her rescue, Yoshino was trapped with his body beside her, as well as those of her family members. All Yoshino had left of Naoya was a photograph she held on to. Then, while she was at the hospital, Naoya began to appear in Yoshino's dreams. She followed him and her family into the House of Sleep.

In the game, Naoya is one of the 'shadows' that is tormenting Yoshino.
