The Hidden World (隠世) in Fatal Frame V is a term that refers to the underworld. It is said to be a place of unending night, where dawn never comes, where the dead go. Because of this, legends say that the border between the world of the living and the Hidden World lies beneath an eternal sunset, people more frequently stumbling into the Hidden World at dusk.
