In Hour III, Wandering Mother and Wandering Daughter appear around the Manor of Sleep, as both vanishing ghosts and hostile encounters. Some of the Wandering Mother ghosts will not appear if the Hiding Daughter ghosts are photographed in the wrong order. The most efficient order, as given in the guidebook, is as follows:

• Photograph Wandering Mother in the 1F Stairs Hallway.
• Photograph Hiding Daughter in the Grave Courtyard.
• Photograph Hiding Daughter in the 3F Storage Room above the Stairs Hallway.
• Photograph Wandering Mother in the Partitioned Room to obtain the file photo Mother and Daughter.
• Photograph Wandering Mother in the Foyer.
• Photograph Hiding Daughter 2F Hearth Room. Fight Wandering Daughter to obtain Scrap of Paper.
• Fight Wandering Mother in the Partitioned Room to obtain the file photo Babe in Arms?
• Develop the photo in Rei's house to update the Mother and Daughter entry in Rei's Notebook.
