This time, Rei dreams of Kei Amakura, who is also in the Manor. Kei hides behind a screen as the tattooed woman passes by. As he begins to explore the Manor, he sees a girl, murmuring apologies, who disappears behind a locked door surrounded by crimson butterflies. Kei ascends to a room full of hanging kimonos, where someone unseen is plucking at an old koto. When he tries to open the other door, a woman with long hair appears. With no Camera Obscura, Kei is plagued by the ghosts of the Manor and must hide instead of fighting. Eventually, he finds the old camera in a chest of drawers where it was hidden and closely guarded by Yashuu Kuze, so that her daughter would never find it.

Eventually, Kei finds the key to the door where Mio vanished, and enters. He finds her locked in a cell.

Rei wakes up to a strange sound, like interference. She goes to the Attic, where the noise ceases, but as Rei looks around, she hears a scraping sound and sees the ghost of a woman crawling on all fours. When the woman grabs her, Rei wakes again, realising it was just a dream, but when she goes to check the attic, she finds an old radio.

• Unlike the other instances of finding the Camera Obscura, you must avoid attacks from Yashuu Kuze in order to acquire it, for she closely guards it.
• Kei's attack power is weak, and he cannot harm Yashuu with the camera.
• A more literal translation of the chapter title would be "Spirited Away".
• After Rei discovers the Spirit Stone Radio in the real world, the background music in Rei's House temporarily changes from the normal rain sounds to a more sinister ambience, with whispering voices, distant creaks, and the sounds of doors opening and closing.
