This time when Rei goes to sleep, she dreams of Miku in an unfamiliar place: the Entrance of Himuro Mansion. As Miku explores, she finds a Camera Obscura, just where it was when she first came to the Mansion in real life, and sees brief visions of a woman covered in tattoos. Searching for a way out of the Mansion, Miku finds the Rope Palace, and is attacked by the spirit a woman in white whose limbs have been torn off.
When Miku tries once more to leave, a little girl dressed as a shrine maiden appears and tells Miku her brother is nearby. Miku follows and finds herself in the Manor of Sleep, not Himuro Mansion after all. The girl leads her into a room with an altar and a hanging wooden cage, and asks her to "Save the two."
Rei wakes up and goes to find Miku in her room. Miku only says she doesn't feel very well; she couldn't sleep.
