Kei must find the Sunlight Key and Shadow Key required to unlock the cell where Mio is trapped. As he searches, he encounters the ghosts of twin girls, who served as shrine maidens in Minakami Village, long ago. When Kei returns to the cell with the keys, Mio has vanished deeper into the Manor. Kei tries to follow, but eventually, he can go no further. Pursued by the Tattooed Priestess and another Minakami sacrifice, he reluctantly returns to the main part of the Manor; since he cannot catch Mio, he hopes to find a way to remove the curse entirely.
